Community Income Tax Assistance Hub (CITAH)

CITAH is looking for friendly, organised and reliable Volunteer Tax Clinic Hosts to help clients access our free community tax clinics.

What You’ll Do

• Answer phone calls from potential clients.
• Answer questions about CITAH’s tax clinics and appointment process.
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments.
• Greet and welcome clients at tax clinics.
• Direct clients to tax preparers and help clinics run smoothly.
• Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality.

No tax preparation experience is required.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly and comfortable speaking with the public.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using email, computers and scheduling tools.
• Previous customer service, reception, administrative or volunteer experience is an asset.

CVITP Requirements

Volunteers must meet the CRA’s requirements for CVITP support volunteers, including registration with the CVITP, required training and a police records check where applicable.
