Volunteer School Tour Guide
Volunteer School Tour Guides lead educational tours of the Diefenbunker for school groups from elementary to secondary school. Guides share the history of the Diefenbunker and Canada’s Cold War through storytelling, discussion, and interactive activities, adapting their approach to different ages and learning needs. Volunteers may also occasionally assist museum staff with educational programs.
An ideal position for someone who enjoys working with children and youth, is comfortable speaking to groups, and is friendly, patient, and approachable, with an interest in history, education, storytelling, or public speaking
