About Glimpse of Hope Foundation
Glimpse of Hope Foundation provides trauma-informed, client-centered addiction recovery support through our Day Addiction Recovery Programme. Volunteers help us extend our reach into the community, connecting individuals to life-changing support.
Role Summary
Volunteers serve as non-clinical outreach ambassadors, helping distribute materials, engage community members, support agency relationships, and promote access to recovery services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach in assigned territories
- Introduce Glimpse of Hope Foundation using trauma-informed scripts
- Distribute brochures, referral cards, and posters
- Engage shelters, clinics, and community centers
- Support awareness events and workshops
- Submit daily outreach logs and weekly reports
- Maintain professional boundaries and safety protocols
- Uphold confidentiality and trauma-informed communication standards
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging diverse community members
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work in pairs and follow safety guidelines
- Compassionate, non-judgmental approach
- No clinical experience required
