Volunteer Opportunity: Bistro Volunteer

Role Description: Are you passionate about serving delicious coffee, baked goods, soup, and
sandwiches? If so, we invite you to join the team at Brock House Society Bistro. As a Bistro Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our members and visitors while providing them with tasty refreshments.

Responsibilities:
● Serve coffee, baked goods, soup, and sandwiches to customers.
● Maintain a clean and organized bistro area.
● Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling cash transactions.
● Assist with restocking and inventory management.
● Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the bistro.
● Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all.

Time Commitment:
● One shift per week
● Shift hours: 8:00 am-10:00am or 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
● Choose any weekday that fits your schedule
● Casual and on-call opportunities are also available

Qualifications:
● A friendly and outgoing personality.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● A willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
● Reliable and punctual.
● Previous experience in food service (preferred but not required).
