- A minimum six-month commitment is preferred; an ongoing commitment is ideal.
- Some evening availability may be required.
Key Responsibilities

What Success Looks Like
- The facilitator team completes routine work and makes day-to-day operational decisions independently.
- The Director of Operations does not need to train new volunteers, coordinate routine tasks, relay messages between team members, or approve ordinary decisions.
- Facilitators communicate directly with the coordinator and with one another to solve problems and complete work.
- New facilitators are interviewed, trained, assessed, and supported through a clear and consistent process.
- Training materials and protocols remain current, understandable, and consistently followed.
- Facilitator concerns are addressed promptly, with only significant safety or policy issues escalated.
- Roles, deadlines, and next steps are clear, documented, and followed through.
- Peer-support groups have dependable facilitator coverage and are delivered safely and consistently.
- The team remains functional during absences because knowledge and responsibilities are shared and documented.
- The coordinator builds trust, accountability, and a supportive team culture without micromanaging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience facilitating peer-support, health-education, community, or volunteer programs.
- Experience training, supervising, scheduling, or coordinating volunteers.
- Mental-health organization or crisis-support experience is strongly valued.
- Strong communication, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
