CITAH is seeking an organised and motivated Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help develop and coordinate fundraising initiatives that support our community income tax assistance programs.
This is an opportunity to use your fundraising experience to help a community-focused organisation grow its programs and reach more people.
Your Role
Working with the CITAH team, you will:
- Help develop and coordinate fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
- Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, grants, and fundraising opportunities.
- Develop fundraising proposals, sponsorship materials, and donor communications.
- Assist with fundraising events and community outreach.
- Coordinate and support Volunteer Fundraisers.
- Maintain basic records of fundraising activities, contacts, and results.
- Help promote CITAH fundraising initiatives through appropriate channels.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has some previous fundraising experience, preferably with a nonprofit, community organisation, charity, or similar initiative.
- Is organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can research fundraising opportunities and identify potential supporters.
- Is comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and online research tools.
- Can work independently while collaborating with the CITAH team.
- Is committed to community service and CITAH’s mission.
Nonprofit fundraising experience is preferred, but equivalent fundraising or community-development experience will be considered.
Time Commitment
Flexible. Hours can be arranged around your availability, with regular communication with the CITAH team.
