Volunteer Chef

Volunteer Chefs will play a vital role in preparing and serving meals at our Community Food Table. This role involves working with a diverse group of volunteers and community members to provide nutritious, delicious, and wholesome meals to those in need. You will assist in creating a welcoming environment and ensure the food served meets health and safety standards.

 Volunteer Chefs prepare meals in their own homes, package, label and date the meals and then serve them at the community table.
 Meals will be based on available resources (both your own and from CC), nutritional needs and community preference.
 Ensure meals are appropriately portioned and presented for community members.
 Helping foster relationships with community members by engaging with them during meal service.
 Assist in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment at the food table.
