Volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society

Camp Goodtimes provides children and youth affected by cancer and their families with an unforgettable summer camp experience in a medically supervised, safe, and supportive environment. We’ve been friendship-building and memory-making in British Columbia since 1985, and work with nearly 500 participants each summer through our kids, family, and youth camps.

Our programs offer a variety of volunteer opportunities including Arts and Craft, Dining Hall, Host and Skip (Camp Counsellor) roles! If you’re passionate about supporting vulnerable communities, comfortable working with kids, and enjoy the outdoors, we’d love to hear from you!

We believe that time spent at camp allows kids to just be kids, away from their diagnosis. We are proud to provide programming that gives joy, confidence, support and hope for children with cancer and their families.

We are currently seeking volunteers for our Kids Camp, Family Camp, and Teen Camp programs that run during the following dates of 2026.

Family Camps

At Loon Lake, in Maple Ridge BC

All volunteer applicants must be a minimum of 20 years of age by December 31, 2026.

Those hoping to volunteer at Teen Camp must be a minimum of 25 years of age before the session's start date.
