
Volunteer Appreciation Events Committee Member
Do you love bringing people together? Are you passionate about building community and creating meaningful, low-key ways for volunteers to connect? If so, we’d love for you to join our brand-new Volunteer Appreciation Events Committee!
This committee plays a key role in helping us celebrate, appreciate, and connect with our incredible team of volunteers. From virtual book clubs to casual coffee meetups, your ideas and creativity will help shape how we build connection and community across CFGH.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with fellow committee members to plan volunteer social gatherings
Brainstorm and organize low-pressure, inclusive events (virtual and/or in-person)
Assist with coordinating logistics like dates, locations, and supplies
Create a welcoming environment for all volunteers
Help promote events and encourage volunteer participation
Provide feedback on past events and suggest improvements for future ones
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must be 16 years of age or older
Friendly, collaborative, and enthusiastic about community-building
Reliable and comfortable following through on small tasks
Open to virtual participation (meetings and planning can be done remotely)
Strong communication skills and a welcoming, inclusive mindset
Ability to attend short, monthly planning meetings (flexible schedule)
A 6-month commitment is preferred, but we’re happy to work with your availability
