💜 Urgent Call for Volunteers: Senior Empowerment Day This Saturday

St. Elizabeth Family Support Services is hosting our Senior Empowerment Workshop this Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1 to 4 PM at the Carmine Stefano Community Centre (3100 Weston Rd, North York).

This event is happening in just a few days, and we still need a few more caring volunteers to help us create a welcoming, supportive space for the older adults in our community. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, now is the perfect moment to step in.

Our seniors rely on events like this for connection, confidence, and community. Your presence can make a real difference.

👉 We urgently need help with:

• Setting up the space and assisting with cleanup
• Greeting seniors and supporting registration
• Guiding participants between workshop stations
• Assisting our facilitator with activities
• Serving warm drinks and refreshments
• Creating a friendly, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere throughout the afternoon

Even a few hours of your time will have a meaningful impact.
