About LandSeed

LandSeed is a non-profit organization tackling the Canadian housing crisis with a unique, data-powered approach. We bridge critical gaps in the housing ecosystem by integrating deep community market data with advanced AI systems. Our focus is on crowdsourcing and identifying obstacles to attainable affordable housing, allowing us to deliver structured, scalable solutions where they are needed most.

Our Commitment: We are driven to uplift those in housing ownership need, including first-time homebuyers, seniors, immigrants, single parents, environmentalists, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Our vision is to pioneer data-driven designs and value structures for entry-level housing across Canada.

Responsibilities:

Plan town hall formats, agendas, and schedules aligned with project objectives
Select and coordinate venues, accessibility requirements, materials, and logistics
Ensure events are inclusive, trauma-informed, and community-friendly
Assist with facilitation or moderation as needed
Document lessons learned from each event and report to Team Lead

Education / Skills Required:

Post-secondary education or experience in event planning, community engagement, social sciences, public health, or related fields
Experience coordinating accessible and inclusive events
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

Accountability:

Deliver each town hall plan on time
Ensure accessibility requirements are met
Report logistics challenges and solutions to Team Lead

Time commitment: ~4–6 hours/week (peaks around events)
