Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Video Editor to turn raw footage into engaging videos for our social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling and wants to use their editing skills to support mental health awareness.

This is a video-editing position and does not involve managing social media accounts, developing social media strategies, or responding to comments and messages.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms
• Edit longer videos when required for campaigns, events, or educational content
• Add captions, music, transitions, graphics, logos, and other approved branding elements
• Format and resize videos for different social media platforms
• Organize raw footage and completed video files in Google Drive
• Make reasonable revisions based on feedback from the administrative and communications teams
• Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members when needed
• Complete assigned videos by agreed-upon deadlines

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video-editing software
• Experience editing content for social media
• Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and viewer engagement
• Ability to add accurate captions and create accessible, easy-to-follow videos
• Ability to follow branding and content guidelines
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines in a remote environment
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
• An interest in mental health advocacy is a strong asset
