FEEDING OUR FUTURE
Feeding our Future addresses summer hunger by packing and delivering nutritious snacks to children and youth when school meal programs pause. While school food programming is an essential part of childhood nutrition from September to June, Feeding Our Future aims to ensure children don’t go without during the summer months.
Dates: July: Mon July 6, 13, 20, 27 August: Tue August 4 & Mon August 10, 17, 24
Shift Times: 9:30am-11:30am or 1:00pm-3:30pm
Location: 260081 Nose Creek Blvd, Rocky View County, T4A 3P5
Requirements: 15-25 volunteers needed per shift, 16+ years of age
Travel: Free on-site parking is available
Activity: Volunteers make 1,000 snack packs during a 2-hour shift throughout the summer.
