The Opportunity

Find, verify and organize information that helps GNBS make informed decisions about funding, partnerships, student placements and other organizational priorities.

What you will do

• Research grants, funders, organizations, businesses, universities, colleges and placement programs.
• Verify eligibility, deadlines, contacts and requirements using reliable sources.
• Prepare concise research briefs, comparisons and contact lists with source links and dates checked.
• Research community information, statistics, comparable programs and other assigned questions.
• Clearly identify information that is uncertain or could not be confirmed.
• Maintain organized research files and hand accepted findings to the appropriate team member.

Scope of the role

You will own research and verification. You will not contact prospects, submit applications or make commitments for GNBS unless specifically authorized.

What we are looking for

• Strong online research and source-checking skills.
• Clear writing and careful attention to detail.
• Ability to organize information in documents and spreadsheets.
• Dependability, good judgment and willingness to ask questions.

Helpful, but not required: Grant, prospect, nonprofit or academic research experience. Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Paid professional experience is not required. Relevant school, volunteer, freelance, community and personal project experience is welcome.
