Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision and operational assistance for our Assisted Living (formerly Supportive Housing), Attendant Outreach and Mobile Attendant Services Programs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, Consumer-centered attendant services for adults with physical disabilities within a medium-sized, unionized, not-for-profit organization operating in a 24/7 environment.

Reporting to the Director, Program Operations, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to a Program Manager, the Program Supervisor is responsible for coordinating staffing, supervising frontline service delivery staff (Independent Living Assistants/Personal Support Workers), supporting Consumers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable legislation, and maintaining service continuity. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with experience in scheduling, health and safety legislation, and service delivery within a unionized environment.

This role includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule, providing after-hours support for operational, staffing and Consumer-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Health Care Administration, Community Services, Human Services or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in attendant services, community care, supportive housing/assisted living or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling staff in a 24/7 service environment.
  • Experience using a Health Information Management System (HIMS) and related scheduling platforms.
  • Knowledge of attendant services and supporting adults with physical disabilities.
  • Understanding of Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and Consumer-centered service delivery.

Working Conditions

  • 24/7 operational environment requiring flexibility and responsiveness.
  • On-call responsibilities.
  • Frequent interaction with staff, Consumers, management, community partners and members of the public.
  • Exposure to emotionally sensitive situations, competing priorities, and operational pressures.
  • Travel between Program locations and Head Office.
  • Occasional visits to Consumers' homes and community settings.
  • Onsite presence with opportunity to work remote 1 day per week, depending on operational needs.
  • Extended periods of computer work with intermittent walking, standing, lifting and occasional assistance with service delivery.

Location: Toronto, Ontario (onsite presence required)

Salary Range: $54,960 - $69,300 commensurate with experience.
