Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role for a Manager at House of Vitor, located in Hamilton, ON. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating services, developing and monitoring care plans, managing and training staff, ensuring compliance with policies and healthcare regulations, and supporting the overall well-being of clients and families. In addition to administrative duties, the Manager is expected to actively handle client support when needed and be available for overnight or weekend shifts as part of the team’s 24/7 service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee staff scheduling, supervision, and professional development
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, care standards, and healthcare regulations
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized care plans
• Provide direct client care and crisis support when required
• Handle documentation, reporting, and communication with families and stakeholders
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for clients and staff

Qualifications:

• Experience in managing special needs and/or elderly care services
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Flexibility to cover overnight or weekend shifts when required
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field (required)
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
• NVCI training, RSA certification, and ABA training (required)
• CPR/First Aid certification (required)

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week (including overnight and weekend shifts as required)
• Language of Work: English
• Compensation: 38.50/hr
