We collaborate with local communities, traditional healers, and government officials to advance health equity, improve maternal and infant well-being, and reduce mortality rates worldwide.

The Opportunity

Are you a passionate legal professional who wants to give back by working with a non- profit? We are seeking a dedicated Legal Adminstrative Assistant (Pro Bono) to support our organization by providing legal insight on the Stretchy project, agreements, and course content.

This opportunity is ideal for law students, recent graduates, or legal professionals looking to contribute their expertise to Health Together's mission-driven environment while supporting ethical and compliant organizational practices.

Key Responsibilities

Provide: General legal insight related to nonprofit operations and policies.
Review: Agreements, partnership documents, and organizational materials.
Support: Compliance and ethical best practices across programs and initiatives.
Offer: Guidance on educational and course-related content relating to the Strechy project and guidance on incorporation
Collaborate: With leadership in a supportive and community-focused environment.

Qualifications
• Background: Degree or background in law, legal studies, or related fields. Working knowledge of the BC Societies Act with proven ability to uphold organizational transparency, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Passions: Strong interest in nonprofit work, health equity, and community advocacy.

Attributes: High attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Work Style: Highly independent, reliable, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality
