HOPE is a national charity with multiple branches across Canada, dedicated to creating meaningful, community-driven impact. Through our national and local programs, we work to empower youth, support communities and create opportunities for leadership, service and personal growth.

We are currently seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator for our Expansions team. The Sustainability Coordinator will support and maintain existing HOPE branches across Canada through regular follow-up meetings and a designated reporting system. They will receive branch updates, assign action items, provide support as needed and connect branch representatives with the appropriate team members when complex questions arise. This role will also monitor the branch-wide WhatsApp community and record meeting minutes and action items. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, responsive and an effective communicator.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of HOPE branches at universities and high schools across Canada.
  • Maintain relationships with HOPE branches by attending branch meetings and managing progress reports and related documents.
  • Meet regularly with representatives from assigned HOPE branches.
  • Respond to branch questions or connect representatives with the appropriate team members for further support.
  • Monitor the branch-wide WhatsApp community and notify the appropriate team members of issues requiring their attention.
  • Record meeting minutes and action items during weekly Expansions Committee meetings.

Time Commitment

  • Attend monthly HOPE general meetings.
  • Attend weekly Expansions Committee check-in meetings (approximately 1 hour per week).
  • Communicate with the Directors as needed and schedule and complete follow-up meetings with assigned HOPE branches (approximately 2-4 hours per week).
  • Hours may vary, with an overall commitment of approximately 6-8 hours per week.
