About The Parmar Foundation

The Parmar Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to advancing research and access to evidence-informed complementary and integrative cancer therapies. Our mission is to improve the scientific evidence base for naturopathic, complementary treatments that are often not funded within conventional healthcare systems, while also supporting patients who seek integrative cancer care.

Many integrative therapies have been shown to help improve patients’ quality of life and may enhance the effectiveness and tolerability of conventional cancer treatments. Through research, education, and patient support programs, the Foundation works to ensure that patients can safely access evidence-informed complementary care alongside standard medical treatment.

Through initiatives such as our Patient Access Program, the Foundation works to reduce financial barriers for individuals with cancer by providing funding to help cover the costs of integrative therapies, travel, and supportive care that are not typically covered by public health systems.
