Position Title: Fundraising Coordinator (Volunteer) Organization: Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Canada-based preferred, but open worldwide)

Time Commitment: 5–6 hours/week (flexible schedule)

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Recruitment

Duration: 6 – 12 months (flexible)

Job Summary

Are you a natural connector, campaigner, or organizer who believes that access to cancer care should

not depend on someone’s income or location? Join Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE) as a

Fundraising Coordinator and become a key driver in our mission to raise life-saving funds for cancer

patients in Ghana who lack financial support and for those in Canada struggling to afford unfunded

cancer medications.

This is a purpose-driven volunteer role where your efforts can directly change—and even save—lives. If

you’re passionate about people, outreach, and impact, this is your opportunity to lead and grow with a

cause that truly matters.

Key Responsibilities


• Plan, launch, and manage creative fundraising campaigns across digital and community platforms


• Mobilize individuals, businesses, churches, and groups to donate and fundraise for ACCE’s mission


• Develop partnerships with community leaders, schools, and corporate sponsors


• Coordinate online fundraisers (GoFundMe, social media drives, email appeals, etc.)


• Support major donation efforts through donor engagement and impact storytelling


• Collaborate with the Communications and Programs teams to align messaging with fundraising goals


• Track and report fundraising progress; provide monthly updates and insights


• Recruit and mentor volunteer “Champions” to raise funds within their own networks

Required Skills & Qualities


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—verbal and written


• Comfortable with outreach and community engagement


• Experience or interest in fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development


• Self-motivated and organized with the ability to meet deadlines


• Strategic thinker who can bring creative ideas to the table


• Basic digital skills: email marketing, social media, spreadsheets, etc.


• Passion for social justice, healthcare equity, or global development
