Help Sort Food and Support Our Food Bank

Join Sai Dham Food Bank as a volunteer and help us sort and organize donated food items that will go toward supporting individuals and families in our community.

Our food sorting volunteers play an important role in ensuring that donated food is carefully inspected, organized, and prepared for distribution through our food bank programs.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize donated food items
• Check food items for quality and condition
• Separate food according to type and suitability for distribution
• Organize and stock food in designated areas
• Assist with general warehouse organization
• Help maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Support staff and fellow volunteers with daily food bank operations

Volunteer Days: Monday to Sunday
Location: Sai Dham Food Bank, 31 Steinway Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6N3

No previous experience is required. Volunteers should be comfortable with light physical activity, standing for periods of time, lifting and moving food boxes/items, and working as part of a team.
