About US

Formerly Maternal Infant Health Canada, Health Together is a global non-profit uniting health professionals, researchers, and integrative practitioners. We collaborate with local communities, traditional healers, and government officials to advance health equity, improve maternal and infant well-being, and reduce mortality rates worldwide.

The Project

At Health Together, we deeply believe that human health and the health of our planet are inextricably linked. As our global initiatives grow, we are seeking passionate filmmakers, storytellers, poets, and narrative writers to help bring our stories to life. We need your creative spirit to craft films, narratives, reflections, spoken word pieces, and poetic responses that resonate across our communities.

These projects will shape our social media, video content, and global campaigns, bridging the gap between local experiences and international planetary health movements. We are searching for a voice that highlights underrepresented communities and captures the beauty of healing our environment and ourselves.

We have two extraordinary international initiatives and need you to help us find the human voice at the heart of global healing.

The Initiatives:

Japan:

How do ancient traditions and modern ecological science intersect?

  • Join us in our new educational interview series as we explore planetary health through the unique voices of local researchers, healers, and community members. Together, we uncover how these intertwined perspectives.

South Africa:

  • A touching project drawing on the Zulu practice of Family Constellations, a deeply rooted tradition of ancestral connection and community wholeness.
  • Rooted in the wisdom and interconnectedness of the Zulu people, the practise of Systemic Constellations bridges the gap between past and present. By honoring our ancestors, this approach sparks new ways of looking at intergenerational healing and systemic well-being.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for creative voices who can translate complex concepts of healing, nature, and collective care into accessible, beautiful art. Whether you specialize in spoken word, written reflections, narrative storytelling, or filmmaking, we would love to collaborate with you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting compelling narratives and spoken word pieces.
  • Producing short films and multimedia reflections.
  • Elevating underrepresented voices in the climate justice and wellness space.
  • Guiding the creative direction of our global outreach.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Emerging Filmmaker, Poet, and Storyteller
  • Creative Visionary & Storyteller: A proven track record of weaving compelling narratives that captivate audiences and champion a mission.
  • Communication Skills: Storytelling skills to effectively convey our mission.
  • Purpose-Driven: A passion for our cause and the ability to inspire donors, volunteers, the audience, and stakeholders.
