Event Volunteer - Donations and Sponsorhips

New Beginnings Support Program is a charitable organization dedicated to helping women and children in need restructure their lives and build a brighter future. Through our Life Stabilization – Step into Success and Humber Polytechnic Certificate programs, participants gain self-confidence, financial stability, and valuable professional skills.

Our vision is to eliminate social, economic, and personal barriers. We empower women to create meaningful, lasting change in their own lives and in their communities.

We are excited to announce our largest fundraising event of the year — the 15th Annual Angels in Action Gala, taking place on November 21, 2026, at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, keynote speakers, entertainment, and a silent auction.

Last year we raised over $80,000 for our program — and this year, we're aiming even higher! To help make this event a success, we are currently looking for volunteers to assist in our fundraising efforts.

Commitment

This is a remote role, though attendance at the in-person Gala is strongly encouraged (but not required). We also meet online around once a month for 1hr (Saturday mornings) to brainstorm, share updates and connect with the team. These meetings are not mandatory but it is a plus if you are able to attend at least sometimes.
