ALS Canada is looking for Event Day Volunteers to support ALS Canada’s Walk to End ALS events across the province of Ontario this summer. Our events are more than just a fundraiser; they are an opportunity to come together and connect to build a community of ALS supporters. As an Event Day Volunteer, you will be an important and key part of the largest community fundraiser for ALS research, advocacy, community-based services, and information. You will support our ALS Canada staff and the Walk to End ALS Volunteer Committee through various roles on the day of the Walk to End ALS events.

About ALS Canada

Founded in 1977, ALS Canada is a registered charity, our work is powered by generous donors who share our vision for a future without ALS and support from the Ontario Government for our core community services delivered in the province.

A charitable organization that lives its values of accountability, collaboration, compassion, integrity, dynamic, and respect, ALS Canada works with the ALS community to improve the lives of Canadians affected by ALS through advancing research, care, advocacy, and information. Our world is challenging. The people we serve are dealing with a devastating illness. But through it all, their resiliency and spirit are remarkable and moving. You will be touched by the community and will find a way to engage naturally and effectively.

Grounded in and informed by the ALS community, we bridge information, programs, research, and services to people affected by this devastating disease.

Volunteering with ALS Canada is an opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of all those affected by ALS, to give back to your community, to meet new people and to have fun!
