Good Neighbour Builders shifts the culture of communities so it is normal for neighbours to know, care about and support each other across Canada.
Our Good Neighbour Method was developed by Bruce Dienes Ph.D. (Community Psychology) and Barry Braun (Cultural Change) and is being implemented in 5 provinces in Canada.
Loneliness is one of Canada's biggest problems affecting personal health and societal problems like crime, social cohesion and volunteerism.
Most people see this as a problem of opportunity (lets create a community event) or education, we see it as a problem of cultural mindset and we have proven we can change the mindset so knowing neighbours shifts from fear to being normal.
You will be joining a board of professionals ranging from medical doctors, to professional engineers to community development. As a board member, you will be part of providing strategic guidance, governance and outreach.
