Job Description:
This is a full-time union position scheduled to work 35 hours per week. This is a fully on-site position with no remote or hybrid options, due to funder and role requirements.
Position Summary
The Digital Solutions Facilitator is responsible for delivering online jobseeker and employer programming, including coaching and training sessions.
The role facilitates training content, maintains digital resources, and supports clients through referrals to COSTI’s services. It also contributes to program improvement through data collection, feedback analysis, and labour market research.

Purpose
To design and deliver digital and in-person employment services programming that supports jobseekers in achieving employment outcomes.
Key Contribution
Enhances access and effectiveness of employment services through high-quality facilitation, training delivery, and client support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Online Training Delivery and Facilitation
- Facilitate online job training and coaching sessions that support jobseekers with job search, matching, skills training, and soft skills that support job retention, and that support employers with the implementation of employer partnerships.
- Deliver engaging sessions using virtual learning platforms such as but not limited to Moodle, MS Teams, and Zoom
Backlog In-Person Training
- Provide in-person training at COSTI Employment Services sites as a backup support capacity for front-line staff that are on-vacation or are backlogged providing one-on-one support.
Curriculum and Content Development
- Support the Assistant Manager, Digital Solutions to develop training materials, presentations, and exercises aligned to program curriculum
Digital Resource Management
- Maintain updated employment, education, and community resources on digital platforms
Service Navigation and Referrals
- Refer clients to training programs, education pathways, and community supports based on assessed needs.
- Refer clients to other supports provided by COSTI, and to the community as required
Data Management, Case Management, Documentation, and Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete case notes and service records in accordance with funder requirements.
- Document all client interactions, progress, and outcomes in required systems (e.g., CaseFLO, CaMS, and COSTIs CIS).
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines, audit requirements, and privacy standards.

Continuous Improvement
- Collect client feedback and analyze program outcomes
- Support program improvements and reporting
Administrative Support
- Ensure completion, accuracy, and validation of client intake data, including proper linkage to required client information systems to support reporting, compliance, and service tracking
- Track and maintain accurate records of workshop enrolment, attendance, and participation to support service monitoring and performance reporting
- Contribute to the preparation of statistical and narrative reports to support program evaluation, continuous improvement, and funder reporting requirements
- Perform additional administrative and program support duties as required
PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY
- Achieve individual service delivery targets, including group coaching delivery.
- Participate in the Performance Monitoring and Accountability Framework (PMAF) including producing weekly reports, participating in monthly and quarterly performance meetings, and the annual shared‑learning retreat.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely data entry for all jobseeker activities, including group coaching session participation, referrals, and follow-up activities in required systems (e.g., CaseFLO, FFAI, CaMS, CIS, CAT).
- Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators, including service volumes, client progress, and employment outcomes, and adjust service delivery approaches as needed to meet program targets.
- Prepare and contribute to statistical and narrative reporting, including activity summaries, service outcomes, and performance reviews, in accordance with program and organizational requirements.
- Demonstrate accountability for individual and team performance outcomes, ensuring alignment with funder expectations and organizational standards.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development, including participation in training sessions, knowledge-sharing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the year.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary diploma in Social Services or related field
- 1+ year experience facilitating online and in-person training
- Experience developing employment-related training materials
- Knowledge of employment services and programs
- Experience with Moodle, MS Teams, Zoom, and digital tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
