About Enchanted Hope Foundation

Enchanted Hope Foundation is a Canadian nonprofit creating meaningful experiences and resources for children facing cancer, NF and other serious illnesses.

Through our Enchanted Hope Collection of original children’s books and character plushies, along with our Kindness Cards program, we aim to give children moments of representation, comfort, imagination and hope during incredibly difficult experiences.

As we grow into 2027, we are building a stronger year-round fundraising and community network to help bring these programs to more children and families.

About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship Volunteer who is confident, personable and passionate about building relationships with businesses and organizations.

This person will help us identify potential corporate partners, introduce Enchanted Hope Foundation to new businesses and help develop meaningful sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, relationship-building, business development, community involvement or fundraising and wants to use those skills to make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your interests and experience, you may:

• Research and identify potential corporate sponsors and community partners
• Help develop a list of businesses and organizations that align with Enchanted Hope Foundation’s mission
• Introduce Enchanted Hope Foundation to potential partners
• Assist with sponsorship outreach and communications
• Help build relationships with local businesses and corporations
• Identify opportunities for corporate donations, sponsorships and in-kind support
• Help develop creative partnership opportunities for businesses
• Follow up with prospective sponsors and maintain relationship records
• Help secure support for fundraising campaigns, programs and events
• Assist with our annual Enchanted Hope Gala and other fundraising initiatives when appropriate
• Share ideas for expanding our corporate and community network

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about making a difference for children and families
• Confident communicating with businesses and professionals
• Comfortable making introductions and starting conversations
• Professional, reliable and organized
• Comfortable with email, phone and/or in-person outreach
• A natural relationship-builder
• Motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable asking businesses to support a meaningful cause
• Connected to local businesses, corporations or community organizations — an asset, but not required

You do not need previous nonprofit experience. Experience in sales, business development, marketing, fundraising, corporate relations, networking or community engagement is an asset.

Commitment

We are looking for someone who can commit approximately 3–5 hours per month, with additional time when actively working on a sponsorship campaign or event.

This is a volunteer position. There is no requirement to personally donate or financially support the Foundation.
