Summary of Role:

As our Corporate Counsel, you will serve as Solution Community’s trusted legal advisor — helping protect, guide, and strengthen our growing global organization. You will oversee contracts, compliance, and risk management, and provide practical legal advice across all teams and projects.

You’ll help build our legal foundation from scratch, ensuring that our nonprofit operations are legally sound, ethically grounded, and strategically protected. From partnership agreements and data privacy to bank disputes and intellectual property, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Solution Community operates safely and responsibly worldwide. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys building systems, solving complex problems, and supporting a mission-driven team.

  • Advise on privacy, data protection, and information security requirements.
  • Support incident response and handle sensitive matters, such as cybersecurity incidents or financial disputes, in coordination with leadership.

Representation & Communication

  • Prepare formal letters, responses, and demand notices to external entities (e.g., banks, vendors, or partners).
  • Liaise with external law firms when specialized legal support is required.
  • Communicate legal concepts clearly and constructively to non-legal team members.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the Finance, Partnerships, Build, and People teams to ensure legal alignment in all projects.
