Love to bake or cook? Residents at Oliver House adore kitchen-based activities - from decorating cupcakes to making simple baking treats together.
Oliver House is a supportive housing community located in Caledon Village, dedicated to helping adults living with schizophrenia and other complex mental health challenges lead meaningful, independent lives. We provide 24-hour support, nutritious meals, medication management, and opportunities for social connection through daily activities and community engagement. Our compassionate team is committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every resident can thrive.
We’re looking for volunteers who want to share their love of food while helping residents build confidence and have fun in the kitchen!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead or assist with a small cooking or baking group
- Create simple, accessible recipes residents can enjoy
- Bring warmth and laughter to the kitchen
Time Commitment:
Flexible - one-time, monthly, or seasonal workshops welcome!
We Provide:
- Kitchen space and staff support
- Ingredients or supply coordination
- An appreciative, enthusiastic group of participants
