COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS & SPONSORSHIP LEAD

~1 hr/day (Flexible)

About RWOB: Recovery Without Borders (RWOB) is a global, peer-led recovery ecosystem anchored in Toronto and expanding internationally. We connect mental health support, substance use care, peer community, work pathways, and housing into one coordinated model—so no one is left without a practical next step.

Position Summary

Builds, maintains, and expands strategic relationships with mental health organizations, healthcare institutions, corporate sponsors, and community allies. Leads proactive outreach to align RWOB with values-aligned partners, secure event sponsorships, and recruit keynote speakers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CORE OBJECTIVES

  • Relationship Building & Outreach: Maintain and build new relationships with mental health-related organizations, healthcare providers, and community partners; conduct proactive outreach for strategic collaboration.
  • Proactive Partner Engagement: Reach out to local clinics, non-profits, and service providers to invite them to participate in RWOB initiatives, webinars, and public events.
  • Sponsorship & Exhibitor Management: Secure B2B event sponsorships ($500–$25,000 tiers) and manage exhibitor booth table sales ($500 tables).
  • Coalition & Speaker Onboarding: Manage partner logistics for confirmed coalition members (CMHA, CATC, EHN Canada, First Responders, etc.) and onboard guest keynote speakers.

OPERATIONAL MODEL & WORKFLOW PROTOCOL

Operational Framework: Department Leads take the lead in ensuring department operations/initiatives progress as planned. They take initiative on tasks/projects, supported by an EA and cross-departmental collaboration, and delegate to auxiliary volunteers when support is needed.

Daily Routine: Check CRM and WhatsApp for partner inquiries, review sponsorship lead pipelines, and assign outreach tickets to volunteers.

Micro-Task Delegation: Guide auxiliary volunteers tasked with exhibitor outreach, speaker asset collection (bios/headshots), and partner thank-you documentation.
