~1 hr/day (People-Centric)

About RWOB: Recovery Without Borders (RWOB) is a global, peer-led recovery ecosystem anchored in Toronto and expanding internationally. We connect mental health support, substance use care, peer community, work pathways, and housing into one coordinated model—so no one is left without a practical next step.

Position Summary

Holds a deeply human, people-centric navigation role. Ensures community members entering through events, online forums, or digital channels receive timely guidance and connection into RWOB’s peer groups, therapy pathways, and digital tools—ensuring no one is left without a practical next step.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CORE OBJECTIVES

  • People-Centric Navigation: Maintain direct human connection and follow-up across all CRM and WhatsApp intake channels so individuals receive personalized guidance within 24–48 hours.
  • Digital App Onboarding: Guide community members through downloading and using the OpenRecovery 24/7 digital companion app for daily journaling, mood tracking, and coping exercises.
  • Referral & Group Routing: Route community members smoothly into free weekly peer groups, pro-bono therapy pathways (e.g., Hakawati Psychotherapy), and local treatment resources via the CRM.
  • Initiative Intake Coordination: Oversee member registration and follow-up for core organizational initiatives, including the Pathways to Income /Entrepreneurship Program pilot and Art Therapy programs.

OPERATIONAL MODEL & WORKFLOW PROTOCOL

Operational Framework: Department Leads take the lead in ensuring department operations/initiatives progress as planned. They take initiative on tasks/projects, supported by an EA and cross-departmental collaboration, and delegate to auxiliary volunteers when support is needed.

Daily Routine: Check CRM and WhatsApp leads daily, triage support inquiries, and assign administrative review tickets.

Micro-Task Delegation: Supervise auxiliary volunteers handling directory applicant verifications, app onboarding support, and web form quality testing.
