Position Summary: Provided through an honorarium from The Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship, funded by Experience Ventures and the Government of Canada.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Communications and Marketing Support student to join our team for a full-time placement. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing marketing materials, creating engaging content, supporting communications initiatives, and contributing to projects that enhance community outreach and organizational awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating marketing and promotional materials, including social media content, newsletters, and digital communications.
  • Support the development of communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Draft and edit written content for a variety of audiences.
  • Assist with website and social media updates.
  • Conduct research to support marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Help coordinate events, campaigns, and community engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related post-secondary program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and Microsoft Office applications; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

This placement provides an excellent opportunity to build a professional portfolio while contributing to meaningful communications and marketing initiatives in a supportive learning environment.
