F.J. Davey Home is one of Northern Ontario’s largest not-for-profit long-term care organizations, providing compassionate, high-quality care to 374 residents and serving as a vital part of the Algoma healthcare community.

We are seeking engaged, community-minded leaders to join our volunteer Board of Directors.

As a Board Director, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and governance for a respected organization with more than a century of service. Working alongside experienced volunteer directors and professional leadership, you will contribute to decisions that support resident care, organizational excellence, financial stewardship, and long-term sustainability.

We welcome applicants with experience or expertise in areas such as:

• Healthcare or senior services
• Human resources
• Risk management
• Strategic planning
• Information technology
• Capital planning or facilities
• Community leadership or public service
• Financial management and organizational oversight

We are committed to building a Board that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We encourage applications from individuals with a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, skills, and perspectives. Candidates from outside the City of Sault Ste. Marie are also welcome to apply.
