ABOUT OCASI&nbsp;OCASI-Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) acts as the collective voice for immigrant and refugee-serving organizations in Ontario, and coordinates response to shared needs and concerns. Our mission is to achieve equality, access and full participation for immigrants and refugees in every aspect of Canadian life. OCASI was founded in 1978 and now has over 250member agencies across Ontario.&nbsp;&nbsp;POSITION OVERVIEW&nbsp;The Director of Programs &amp; Services has oversight of OCASI's operations, including professional development and training programs, evaluation, digital services and online presence, information management, sector-wide initiatives, membership and community engagement. This senior leader ensures OCASI’s work remains impactful and aligned with its mission.&nbsp;The Director of Programs &amp; Services acts in a manner which is consistent with responsible and ethical practices. This role supports the programs and services management team at OCASI, using a strong anti-racist anti-oppression analysis and social justice-oriented principles and practices.&nbsp;All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with OCASI’s commitment to responsible and ethical practices, grounded in an anti-racist, anti-oppression framework and social justice-oriented principles.&nbsp;KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;<ul><li>Have oversight of strategic program development, launching and implementation of flagship initiatives </li><li>Align programs with OCASI’s strategic priorities, ensuring responsiveness to sector trends and member agency needs </li><li>Oversee internal program evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness, allocate resources wisely, and report impact </li><li>Promote use of metrics, dashboards, and best practices among teams </li><li>Collaborate with funders and partners to expand learning resources </li><li>Build strategic partnerships with community organizations including membership,&nbsp;federal, provincial&nbsp; and&nbsp; municipal funders </li><li>Promotes the principles, policies and practices of anti-racism, equity and access </li><li>Oversees the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures </li><li>Contribute to a healthy, safe and supportive environment for all employees and complies with all safe working procedures and instructions including OCASI’s policies and procedures </li><li>Acknowledge, appreciate, and encourage individual differences and value people for their skills, competencies, and contribution to OCASI’s continuing success </li><li>Travel across Canada </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director &nbsp;</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;<ul><li>Minimum 7–10 years in senior management or executive position in the non-profit or social services sector </li><li>Post-secondary degree and/or a mix of education and relevant work experience </li><li>Experience in the immigrant/refugee sector will be an asset </li><li>Demonstrated success in overseeing complex sector-wide initiatives </li><li>Experience in government and community relations on program and service issues affecting immigrants and refugees </li><li>Demonstrated ability to integrate in-depth knowledge of equity, access and anti-racism into all aspects of the Council and its work </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders from community representatives to senior management and government decision-makers </li><li>Effective interpersonal, negotiation, public relations and public speaking skills </li><li>Proven ability to develop and maintain organizational awareness and understand the environmental challenges facing the Council </li><li>Ability to function in a multidisciplinary, culturally diverse workplace </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to communicate in French is an asset &nbsp;</li></ul>Employment Details:&nbsp;<ul><li>Salary as per OCASI Salary grid </li><li>Job type: Full-time position based on 35 hours per week </li><li>Some overnight travel within Canada may be required *OCASI currently operates within a Hybrid workplace model. &nbsp;</li></ul>Employment Details:&nbsp;<ul><li>Salary is $105,000 plus benefits </li><li>Job type: Full-time position based on 35 hours per week </li><li>Some overnight travel within Canada may be required *OCASI currently operates within a Hybrid workplace model.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>How to apply:&nbsp;Please send your cover letter and resume (in a single pdf attachment) with the subject line: Director of Programs &amp; Services&nbsp;in the title to: Hiring Committee, OCASI at <a href="mailto:gethired@ocasi.org" target="_blank">gethired@ocasi.org</a> This posting will remain open until the position has been filled.&nbsp;
