The Role: 
Working with direction from a Registered Behaviour Analyst, the ABA Facilitator implements Skill Based 
Treatment and uses the Behavioural Skills Training model to teach mediators strategies outlined in a behaviour 
intervention plan for children and youth with ASD. Services will be provided in person at the Geneva Centre for 
Autism, in the home environment, and in the community. 
 
What your Day Looks Like: 
 • Implement Behavioural Interventions and Skill-Based Teaching Plans written by the Registered Behaviour 

Analyst (RBA) 
 • Support caregivers and workers in clinic, family homes, and community settings using the Behavioural Skills 

Training Model 
 • Travel throughout the community to provide services in family homes or an appropriate identified 

community agency 
 • Collect data on behalf of the RBA, coach others to gather data, identify barriers to gathering data, and report 

back to the RBA 
 • Graph raw data for interpretation by the RBA 
 • Assist RBA to conduct Practical Functional Assessments 
 • Assist RBA in generating summary reports 
 • Maintain accurate client records, submit expense reports, and other administrative components related to 

caseload and department needs 
 • Participate in team meetings, client meetings, and supervisions 
 
What you Bring to the Role: 
 • Post-secondary diploma from a recognized College in Behavioural Sciences, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or 

other area of relevance 
 • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with ASD 
 • Ability to travel across the GTA to carry out core functions of the role 
 • Sound knowledge of ABA principles 
 • Experience coaching parents/guardians 
 • Knowledge of a variety of data collection procedures 
 • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 


 
 
 • Good judgement and problem-solving skills 
 • Applied knowledge of community-based service delivery systems with demonstrated ability to work within 

the community 
 • Experience working with Behavioural Skills Training model to implement and monitor individualized ABA-

based intervention programs for children, youth, and/or adults diagnosed with ASD and/or dual diagnoses an 
asset 

 • Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check

ABA Facilitator

The Role: 
The Coordinator, Group Services provides operational and administrative support to the respite and camp 
departments. 
 
What your Day Looks Like: 
 • Conducts ongoing client and family intake meetings, screenings, and assessments to determine program fit 

and eligibility. Collaborate with Supervisor to develop cohesive group pairings (staff/client). 
 • Manages program registration to include: creating programs on Amilia, registering clients, managing client 

waitlists, making registration adjustments, updating Salesforce etc. 
 • Manages program registrations finances to include; processing refunds, liaising with accounting, creating 

and implementing payment plans, creating custom invoices, adjusting payments based on program grants 
and subsidies, etc. Conducting orientations, collecting client documents, liaising with families to develop 
ISP’s, and collecting caregiver data. 

 • Program development and quality assurance oversight to include: pre/post data collection, develop and 
administer parent training materials, monitoring current program offerings in the sector. 

 • Assists Supervisor with hiring and onboarding staff to include: pre-screening interviews, training staff (e.g. 
CPI, policies and procedures, etc.), attending job fairs for recruitment. 

 • Assists Supervisor with developing and planning marketing material to include: social media posts, 
community outreach, updating website, newsletter content, attending program fairs. 

 • Manages client related documentation to include: collecting, reviewing and organizing all client 
documentation, ensuring documentation is up to date, sharing relevant updates with team members, 
creating ISP in partnership with caregivers, etc. 

 • Meets regularly with Program Coordinator and Intake team. 
 • Assist with ensuring programs areas and clients understand and follow all GCA polices and procedures to 

include Health and Safety responsibilities. 
 • Participates in team and staff meetings regularly and to contribute to program development initiatives 

within the team and across the GCA. 
 • Other administrative and program duties as assigned. 
 
What you Bring to the Role: 
 • University degree in relevant field. 


 
 
 • At least 4 years’ experience working in a related discipline including providing support to families with ASD. 
 • Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or Autism. 
 • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.

 • Must be proficient with various computer programs.
