Volunteers walk alongside those in our community who need food, housing, community resources or addiction treatment. Volunteers are vital in ensuring that everyone can belong and thrive.Our Men's and Women's Live-In Treatment Program is going to Hidden Acres Camp on September 23rd, 2025 and is looking for two certified lifeguards who can assist from 1-4pm so the participants can go swimming.Volunteer must be a Certified Lifeguard. Information on the program will be provided beforehand by Addictions Program staff.

Fall Session starts in September!Volunteers are needed to lead horses or side-walk for riders with special needs. No prior horse experience necessary. As a leader you need the ability to understand &amp; carry out direct instructions. As a side-walker you need to comprehend instructions &amp; pass them onto the rider &amp; may also need to physically assist/support the rider. Both positions require physical endurance, verbal skills, &amp; excellent English comprehension. Volunteers must be 15 yrs or older.&nbsp;We run seasonal riding sessions of 8&nbsp;weeks in length. Classes are 60 minutes each and run on Monday-Thursday daytime&nbsp;and evenings and&nbsp;Saturdays. Volunteers arrive 30 min ahead of time to prepare horses. We ask volunteers to commit to at least one class (1 1/2 hours)&nbsp;per week for the duration of a full season. Fall 2025 Training Dates-You only need to attend one session.
