Volunteer Opportunity: Youth DBT Peer Support Facilitator

(Hybrid Role)

We are inviting BIPOC volunteers — Black, Indigenous, and Asian community members — to join our team of peer support facilitators for youth. Representation matters and lived experience from diverse communities strengthens our DBT program.

About the role:

  • Co‑facilitate DBT skills groups for youth in a hybrid format (virtual and in‑person)
  • Provide peer support based on lived experience and cultural safety
  • Help create inclusive spaces for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and resilience
  • Collaborate with a trauma‑informed, equity‑centered team

  • De‑escalation and Trauma‑Informed Facilitation Training

  • Opportunities to grow within youth and peer support programs

Who we’re looking for:

  • BIPOC volunteers with lived experience who want to give back to the community
  • Passionate about youth mental health and peer support
  • Comfortable engaging in both virtual and in‑person formats
  • Committed to cultural safety, empowerment, and community care
