Volunteer Clothing Bank Manager (1–2 days/week)

Flemingdon Park / Don Mills / DVP Area – Toronto

Flemingdon Park Ministry is seeking a mature, reliable, and community-minded Volunteer Clothing Bank Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy clothing bank serving newcomer and refugee families.

This role is ideal for someone with a warm but authoritative presence, strong boundaries, and the ability to create a respectful and welcoming environment while managing high-demand clients with care and fairness.

About the Role

The Volunteer Clothing Bank Manager will:

Oversee and organize clothing bank operations once or twice a week

Sort, display, and maintain donated items

Welcome clients and ensure fair distribution of goods

Manage lineups and interactions with clients with confidence and diplomacy

Support and coordinate volunteers

Maintain an environment that is calm, respectful, and dignified for all community members

Who We’re Looking For

Mature individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Comfortable taking initiative and maintaining clear boundaries

Experience working with newcomer and refugee families

Strong organizational skills and reliability

Preferably lives in or near the Don Mills / DVP area

Able to commit to 1–2 days per week (approximately 3–4 hours per shift)

Vulnerable Sector Clearance required (or willingness to obtain)
