Role: As an Ambassador of Make-A-Wish Canada, you will be interacting with the public, processing donations (via Square and iPads) and wrapping Christmas gifts for patrons at Sunridge Mall - all proceeds are donated to Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes across Southern Alberta! Where and When: Sunridge Mall (2525 36 St NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 5T4) Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: 3:00pm-7:00pm Thursdays: 4:00pm-8:00pm Fridays: 12:00pm-8:00pm Saturdays: 12:00pm-8:00pm Sundays: 11:00am-7:00pm (hours may slightly vary, see schedule below for exact times) DRESS CODE: - Black pants - Make-A-Wish t-shirt or holiday/festive sweater Notes: Volunteers 14-17 years of age are welcome to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult. Minors will not be handling cash. Event specific training will be provided, but experience wrapping gifts is essential. Volunteers will be trained for using readers and iPads for donation processing All volunteers will be required to sign event waivers prior to their assigned shift.
