Grants and Partnerships Coordinator
The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Grants in Canada to support the Foundation’s work with children’s charities across Canada. This position plays a key role in strengthening relationships with partner organizations, ensuring that grants are well-managed, reporting is meaningful, and impact is clearly understood.
The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator Will:
● Work closely with the Director of Grants to support the Foundation’s Canadian portfolio and partner charities.
● Act as a bridge between the Foundation and its partners, guiding them through the grant approval, reporting, and review processes.
● Review and analyze partner reports and milestones, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions and preparing concise updates for the Foundation’s Board.
● Coordinate key grant documents, schedule meetings, and prepare materials for the Foundation’s Board to review.
● Build knowledge of partner organizations and the sector by attending events and researching potential new partners that align with the Foundation’s mission.
The Successful Candidate Will:
The successful candidate will be highly organized and proactive. They will be able to manage multiple priorities while supporting the Foundation’s work with partner charities. They will bring strong project management skills and experience in producing clear, concise, and insight-driven reports for the Foundation’s Board.
Key Qualifications Include:
● Experience coordinating and scheduling meetings and preparing materials and documents for Board review.
● Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.
● Experience in philanthropy or the charitable sector, ideally with a focus on children and youth.
● Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
● Strong project management skills with the ability to provide clear actionable insights to the Foundation’s Board.
● An understanding of legal and financial management, program operations, governance, and organizational structures in the non-profit sector (an asset). Working for The Peter Cundill Foundation means:
