Our crisis and support line is available

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The crisis and support line is for survivors of sexual violence, for someone supporting a loved one or to talk about safety, sexuality or gender.

When you call, one of our front line workers will answer immediately unless there is another caller already on the line. If that happens, you will get an automated message asking you to call back in a few minutes.

The call is anonymous and you are in charge of what information you share and what you talk about.

Sometimes people call because something has happened recently and they need to do immediate safety planning, or make decisions about getting medical care or reporting to the police. Other times people call because they are coping with something that happened a long time ago and just need to hear a friendly voice. Lots of people call us when they aren’t completely sure what they need. That’s completely okay! We can work that out together, and help direct you to other resources, if that is what you need.

Some people prefer extra anonymity and convenience of using our text chat or online messaging.

This service may also be the right one for you if you don’t have the privacy to make a phone call.
