About the Event

GLAM AS YOU ARE™ is a design-forward, immersive cocktail fundraiser supporting the Daisy Baby Foundation’s fertility grant for LGBTQIA+ families-in-waiting. In partnership with Grand River Pride, the event blends creativity, joy, and community generosity.

Our raffle and auction station is one of the most uplifting touchpoints of the night — a place where guests get to play, give back, and support local queer families. This volunteer role helps turn philanthropy into a moment of celebration.

Volunteer Role Available

✨ Raffle & Auction Support Volunteer (2–3 people)

The Role
You’re the smile behind the prizes. As part of the Raffle & Auction Support team, you’ll help set up, manage, and wrap up our fundraising station. You’ll answer questions, guide guests through bidding or ticket purchases, and help distribute prizes — all while keeping the energy positive, warm, and celebratory.

This role blends charm, clarity, accountability, and community spirit.

What You’ll Do

Set up the raffle/auction display and ensure signage is clear and attractive

Explain how bidding, ticketing, or prize pickup works in a friendly, simple way

Assist with processing payments or bids (in collaboration with staff)

Help track winners and distribute prizes as needed

Keep the station tidy, welcoming, and easy to navigate

You’re Perfect If
You love chatting with guests and bringing enthusiasm to a good cause. You’re confident, friendly, and comfortable answering questions or handling light money-related tasks. If you enjoy roles that combine charm with organization — you’ll excel here.

Bonus Points For

Experience in customer service, hospitality, or fundraising events

Strong attention to detail and confident communication

Comfort troubleshooting small tech or payment issues
