CPAC is seeking a Job Developer for the Bridging Program for Internationally-trained Individuals. Reporting to Project Manager you will manage the implementation of the program and provide job matching services to the program participants.

Responsibilities:

- Actively promote program to business organizations and employers

- Cultivate and develop business networks for employment connections

- Developing job leads and maintaining an employer job bank

- Execute job match requirements channeled from the employment counsellor and the other team members

- Assessing an employer's staffing needs and ability to train participants, matching participants to suitable employers

- Assist with the delivery of the job search and job retention components of the program

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience in marketing specialized training/education in accounting career paths or Common Assessment is an asset; current knowledge of Canadian, regional and local lablour markets

- Experience using a variety of marketing strategies to successfully connect job seekers with employers

- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse population, limited work experience and newcomers

- Experience in Case Management of a job matching program

- Well developed and professional presentation and facilitation skills in working with clients, employers and external partners

- Good communication skills, ability to speak languages relevant to the community we serve an advantage
