How will you celebrate International Volunteer Day on December 5?
How could people who have volunteers not know about International Volunteer
Day? It is all over the newspaper, t.v. etc. Do they not value their volunteers?
This is disgraceful.

It shocks me to see the results of the vote...that such a high
percent answered they do nothing for their volunteers. Volunteers are such
[an important part of] a non-profit organization, they need to be recognized
every chance we get.

recognition event, 18% said they thank volunteers individually, 29% said
they do nothing special, and 44% didn't know about International Volunteer
Day.
