Given the increasingly dismal economic climate, how are you revising your year 2001 income projections (ie, by what percent) and what strategies are you using in the face of what could be a tough fundraising climate?
I have spoken to a couple of key donors/board members to see if I'm overreacting and find out that I'm not. They share the same concerns. I am reviewing all my expected donations and will separate them by business sector to get an idea of how much risk we are exposed to. Beyond this I don't have much more of a plan. I'm the eternal optimist and believe the market situation will turn around very soon but I would rather be prepared and safe rather than sorry.
