And it's Canadian!!!! Just wanted to say thanks for this great site. The articles available on it were so useful to me when I was preparing my first donor campaign mailout. In fact, when I had my campaign package reviewed by a fundraising professional, she told me it needed no changes! I've been checking out your site since it was started and have found it to be a wonderful source of information. One of the biggest advantages I've found is that it is Canadian specific, which, as you know, can be pretty hard to find on the Internet. i have charityvillage as my homepage... I came across your webpage, saw the Mall Walk idea, and within a week had approval to go for it. From seeing your web-page to actually doing the walking was less than 4 weeks. Within that time, we got in-kind sponsorship from the neighbourhood mall and Shopper's Drug Mart, and managed to raise over $900.00!
Now, that might not seem like much to you, but it was a HUGE SUCCESS to us!! ... We are planning to have a February Mall Walk annually and are already planning for next year's, to cover the cost of the majority of the year.
