Meet Patti Foley
Patti Foley is Charity Village's Account Manager for the regions of Halton, Peel, York, Simcoe, Dufferin, Bruce and Grey.
Patti left her sleepy hometown in Nova Scotia during the seventies and, with the exception of a brief stint in Prince Rupert, B.C., has been enjoying life in Ontario ever since.
She is outgoing and energetic with a passion for the environment. As a nature photographer Patti hopes to convey the beauty and fragility of our planet, inspiring people to strive for "greener living".
Her dedication to community has drawn her to many volunteer activities including school councils, church school, coaching minor baseball, and canvassing and team leading for The Kidney Foundation's annual March Drive. Patti also acted as an Area Coordinator for the 2001 and 2002 drives and achieved a national recognition award for the Caledon/Vaughan area.
In 2004 Patti started a networking group for non-profit organizations in her town of Bolton. The Non-Profits Networking Club has over 20 members and meets monthly except for July and August. Be sure to let her know if you'd like to join in or be a guest speaker at of the meetings.
In 2007 Patti spearheaded a group for people with environmental interests and concerns. Green Tea meets 5 or 6 times a year and always features several guest speakers from environmental organizations. To become part of the speakers series or to attend a Green Tea just give her a shout.
