CharityVillage® 15th Anniversary Trivia Contest Rules  

1. CharityVillage® will be holding a trivia contest to celebrate its 15th Anniversary. Hosted in Village Vibes from July 12 to September 20, 2010, individuals will be invited to submit their answers to questions in order to be eligible for a draw to win prizes. The grand prize will be an Apple iPad (WiFi 32GB). Additional prizes will be announced during the course of the contest.

2. To be eligible to participate in the draw, participants must work (either as a full-time or part-time employee), be a volunteer, or be seeking work in a nonprofit organization in Canada.

3. From July 12, to September 20, 2010, CharityVillage® will be placing a weekly trivia question in each issue of Village Vibes. With the exception of the first issue published on the week of July 12th, each issue will also feature the answer to the previous week's question.

4. Individuals are encouraged to submit their answer to the trivia question to the email address provided in Village Vibes: trivia@charityvillage.com. Every email received during the contest period will be numbered in sequence and retained by CharityVillage®. Participants may submit answers to more than one trivia question during the contest period, but only one correct answer is required to win a prize.

5. The contest will close September 20, 2010. Emails received after midnight EDT on September 20, 2010 will not qualify for prize draws.

6. Using a random number generator, CharityVillage® staff will produce a number and then select the corresponding numbered email from eligible emails. To be selected as a winner, the email must contain the correct answer to one of the trivia questions. If an email is selected and it does not contain a correct answer, it will be removed from eligibility, a new number will be generated, and a corresponding email will be pulled. This process will continue until an email with a correct answer has been identified.

7. Draw winners will be notified by email. In order to claim prizes, draw winners must permit CharityVillage® to publish their names and their employers' names as part of an article in Village Vibes announcing the results of the trivia contest. Winners who will not permit CharityVillage® to publish their name and their employers' names will forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be drawn as described in #5 (above).

8. CharityVillage® reserves the right to adjust the rules of this contest at any time.
